Strandfontein water cross contamination issue

The City of Cape Town says tap water in Strandfontein is once again safe for consumption after it was contaminated last week. On Thursday, the City received complaints of a sewage-like odour when residents opened their taps. Now it seems that the issue has been an ongoing in the Strandfontein area and residents has been complaining to the ward counsellor about the issue which appears to have fallen on deaf ears.
