Violence escalates in India
Loading player...
At least 24 people have been killed after India's capital was hit by the worst religious violence in decades. Groups of Hindus went on a rampage in Muslim populated areas of north east Delhi killing people and damaging mosques. India's nationalist prime minister Narendra Modi, who hosted Donald Trump, has been criticised for keeping mum. The violence comes in the wake of widespread anger and criticism against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) which was passed last December, which discriminates against Muslims.
