On the continent, the spread of coronavirus and tumbling oil prices could trigger a capital exodus from Africa, according to Fitch Ratings. Meanwhile in the US, the Federal Reserve swept into action on Sunday to save the economy from fallout of the coronavirus, slashing its benchmark interest rate by full percentage to zero.
