In this week's Africa report, African nations are now taking strict actions following the number of confirmed cases on the continent, with South Africa imposing travel ban and closing a number of its borders. At least 13 countries on the continent have closed or preparing to shut down schooling. In the DRC, former militia warlord Thomas Lubanga has been set free after serving a landmark 14 year jail term for war crimes handed by the International Criminal Court(ICC). And in Malawi, president Peter Mutharika on Friday dissolved his cabinet in an attempt to quash the fresh election that would require him to win by than 50 percent majority to secure a second term.
