What is intriguing about neuroscience as one of the scientists at UCT’s new neuroscience institute pointed out; you use an organ, the brain, to study itself. The University of Cape Town’s Neuroscience Institute is an African first which is bringing the various fields for basic research in brain disease and disorder under one roof in their quest to find African solutions.
