In the latest edition of The Big Issue, the show where we take a deep dive looking at issues affecting local football, the value of the local football takes centre stage. In part 1, player salaries are put under the microscope with particular attention given to minimum wage and how it may be impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Player & Club ‘value’ is also investigated in order to understand how they are impacted by the market, and what the impact of the crisis will have on these figures once the league resumes.
