Episode 25 - The Return of Ewing

Loading player...
It's been almost a year since Garreth "Springs" Ewing was appointed as the SA National Hockey Men's coach and what a year it was. South Africa qualified for the Tokyo Olympic games through making the final of the FIH Hockey Series Final as well as winning the African Hockey Road to Tokyo Event in Stellenbosch.

Derek and Jabu sat down at Grind Coffee Shop with "Springs" to chat all things hockey. In his second interview with the Hockey 24 Seven team he offered his thoughts on the Olympic Games, the importance of an SA "A" structure, the upcoming Summer Series at Ashton College in Ballito as well as the series against Germany at Wits.

And, has he named his dog Nic Spooner yet?

Give it a listen, give it a like and remember its more than a game - it's hockey.
