So it seems as though looting has really become a new trend Cape Town …last week we saw several shops looted and yesterday, three trucks were looted within a couple of hours in the Netreg / Kreefgat. In the first incident, protesters apparently blocked the road with large pieces of cement and proceeded to pelt a truck carrying food parcels before looting them.
