As the protracted platinum mineworkers strike goes on, many families go by without food due to the no work no pay rule. AMCU is leading the strike and is requesting a R12 000 minimum wage for it's members. Local organisation Gift of the Givers is busy with plans to assist starving families of workers caught up in the strike at platinum mines in the North West.
