The ANC says an Eyewitness News (EWN) cartoon, which was the subject of a peaceful protest outside Primedia Broadcasting’s Sandton offices earlier on today, went beyond the boundaries of freedom of expression and political satire. Around 50 ANC supporters staged a demonstration this morning. The cartoon was published on the EWN website on Wednesday and was strongly criticised on social media networks.
