Minister Fernandez fears new draft directions could threaten food security of most vulnerable

We have been chatting about the issue of food security during the lock-down period for a while now and how one goes about accessing a permit to distribute to those in need. Now we have seen that it is easier for NGO’s and good Samaritans to distribute cooked food as it caters for more people compared to having to hand out food parcels, but a new draft of regulations has been submitted to ban the distribution of cooked food during this time and will only be allowed should one have a permit to do so.
