US rejects UN led inquiry into racism

US officials have rejected a UN led inquiry into racism in that country voicing its disappointment against South Africa for promoting the idea. SA is the current chair of the African Union.
The UN Human Rights Council met Wednesday in Geneva to discuss racism after a joint call by the African nations following the killing of African America George Floyd. On line for comment is former US diplomat and Associate editor at the Daily Maverick, Brooks Spector.
