Activists Thaakirah Mohammed & Chelsea Goliath on rape culture and victim shaming

During Women's Month, Real Talk will be unpacking different aspects of Gender-Based Violence and issues affecting women. This week we spoke to two anti-GBV activists about rape culture and victim shaming- two concepts that have gained traction synonymous with women speaking out about their sexual predators. In studio was Integral life coach, self-proclaimed Revolutionist and soon-to-be author Thaakirah Mohammed and joining the conversation online was student, poet and activist Chelsea Goliath. A poem Goliath wrote set the tone, as the pair tackled various matters related to the journey of a survivor.
