
Covid-19 restrictions are making work difficult for crossborder truck drivers

Cross border truck drivers delivering goods across Southern Africa are spending longer days on the road as they are forced to wait for Covid-19 test results at borders before they can continue on their journey. Speaking to The Covid Report, one crossborder truck driver Kamohelo Komane says after entering a country, truck drivers cannot stop at shops to get essentials and those from Botswana have not been able to travel home because of the lockdown restrictions in that country.
