SAHRC offers mediation in teen killing

The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) has offered to mediate in the ongoing violent tensions between Eldorado Park residents and the police following the killing of teenager Nathaniel Julius.

Police have claimed the disabled teen was caught in the crossfire between police and gangsters.

Residents reacted angrily to the killing by storming the police station.
