Active since the late 90’s as a DJ, producer, and label owner, I’m a prominent part of the South African dance music scene. Besides producing my own releases with vocal and instrumental collaborators, I’ve remixed tracks for commercial dance vocalists and producers alike. I’m deeply immersed in an array of club music styles with house music being foremost. All the while, I’ve maintained the genre’s connections to soul, jazz and disco.
Among my most notable career achievements are a SAMA for best remixer of the year which I received in 2010, the 2009 national hit Nka Mo Dira and countless collaborations/remixes with some of the most renowned musicians like Charles Webster and Nduduzo Makhathini (as part of the production collective K.A.N).
My discography of mix albums, studio projects and productions includes In Retrospect, Vintage Love, The Sentimental Ep, Nana Coyote Remixed, Miza’s Moon Dancing, The Feeling EP, How Do You Know and Trust.
I’m also radio professional. My career on the airwaves began as music manager at the game-changing radio station Yfm from 1997 to 2003. At Yfm, I presented the award-winning dance music show THE RED HOUSE. Currently, I head up the music department at one of the largest private radio stations in South Africa, Kaya FM (South African commercial radio station of the year 2013, 2015 and 2018)
