
South Africa is re-opening its borders, what does this mean for travellers?

There have been Local and international calls for South African to reopen the borders in order to kickstart the economy and prepare for a post cover-19 world. While the president has announced that the country will be reopening its borders, there have been delays in announcing which countries our borders will be open to. We spoke to Siya Biniza, founder of Political Economy Southern Africa institute and a fellow at the Public Affairs Research Institute . We also spoke to Mogoshadi Phatudi who own a travel agency in Gauteng who says people are still not comfortable with travelling internationally amid the pandemic.
