Engineer gets job after standing on Johannesburg street corner

For months, engineer Ayanda Mbatha stood on the corner of Jan Smuts Avenue in Blairgowrie, Johannesburg - formally dressed while handing his CV to passing motorists.

Now, Mbatha has a job as a project engineer at an engineering firm in Midrand.
