With more efforts focused on dealing with the impact of Covid-19, some diseases may be gaining ground in their grip on the population, with TB infections and lack of treatment on the rise.
Last week, the World Health Organisation (WHO) released an annual Global TB report, which suggests that TB mortality in 2020 will be more than 25% higher due to delays in diagnosis and interruption during Covid-19.
