As we know, the City of Cape Town has cancelled one of its most iconic events, the switching on of the festive lights, due to the covid19 pandemic. A lot of questions are now being asked about the Tweede Nuwe Jaar carnival - which of course is one of the largest cultural gatherings in Cape Town.
