Impact of infidelity on health and mental health

South Africa was shocked last week when TV presenter Katlego Maboe admitted to infidelity against his partner Monique Muller in a video that has since gone viral. In the clip, she accused him of giving her an STD, after he allegedly cheated with another woman. The saga has had South Africans divided, with many slamming the presenter for putting his partner’s health at risk. Others feel she should never have let a personal issue into the public domain and this will severely impact on his career. This morning want to look at the impact that infidelity has on the health and mental health of those involved.
