Since the establishment of BRICS Academic Forum, the community has played the role of pioneers calling attention to newly emerging problems and solving drawing the attention of leaders to persistent issues of international agenda.

One of the other important tasks of BRICS academic community remains that of monitoring the progress achieved by the five countries.
