Child rights consultant: failure to report abuse of minors is a criminal offence

Following a second video that was released this week where a young women states that she had reached out to leaders in her community to report abuse, we thought it best to chat to a child rights consultant just to try and understand what the law says about the reporting of any form of child abuse, including sexual violence. Many a times, people are left unsure what the procedures are or who to go reach out to, to find a solution without putting that child or children in any risk.
