After nearly three weeks of legal claims and attacks on democracy, developments on Monday have diminished Donald Trump's fantasy that he would have a second term as president.

In the most significant and symbolic sign that its over for Trump, the constitutional process on the administrative machinery that will formerly transfer power to president-elect Joe Biden has finally begun after Biden unveiled his cabinet.
