With the current lull in violence in the Gaza strip, life still continues and Palestinians are returning to their homes to salvage the little bit they can find in the destruction. But right now, we also know that Gaza is facing a looming health catastrophe that will haunt the enclave for decades to come after the Israel bombardment. Some one who has been on the frontlines is Dr Bassel Abu-warda from Al Shifa hospital. Dr Abu-warda has been tweeting his experiences from the hospital as it struggles to treat the growing number of casualties. And you’ll also remember him as the doctor who delivered the quadruplets. Dr Abu-warda is now spearheading the Save Gaza Project World Wide.
