As part of the Gaza Ambulance Drive, Cii Projects, supported by Purple Bandage, are pleased to announce the official hosting of world renowned humanitarian, doctor and academic Dr. Mads Gilbert in South Africa. A Norwegian citizen, Dr Mads has served in the Al Shifa Hospital during the most ferocious bombing periods in the Gaza Strip over the past month by the Israeli military. He has also served as a doctor there during previous Israeli attacks. Dr Mads is expected to be in South Africa from the 25 – 30 August 2014 Insha Allah as the guest of honour for a fundraising dinner for Cii Projects #GazaAmbulanceDrive on 29 August 2014 in Fordsburg, Johannesburg.
