Norwegian medical practitioner, Dr Mads Gilbert has arrived in South Africa on his maiden visit to the country. A Norwegian citizen, Dr Mads has served in the Al Shifa Hospital during the most ferocious bombing periods in the Gaza Strip over the past month by the Israeli military. He has also served as a doctor there during the past two Israeli assaults on the territory. Dr Mads will be in South Africa until the end of August 2014 as the guest of honour for a fundraising dinner for Cii Projects #GazaAmbulanceDrive on 29 August 2014 in Fordsburg, Johannesburg. We were lucky enough to have him on air a few weeks ago when he wrote an open letter to the world and now he joins us in studio....
