Umphakathi FM 90.4 is a local radio station based in Randfontein in the West Rand, the station was established in 2022. Umphakathi means community, the station seeks to live to its name by demonstrating a community service to our audience. We are the trendsetters and pioneers of progress in the community that we broadcast. Umphakathi 90.4 broadcast in English, Afrikaans, Tswana, Sotho, Xhosa, Zulu, and Tsonga with a broadcasting format that carries 70% music and 30% talk. We have our own uniqueness of being able to Listeners in their own languages in and around Randfontein.
