Polokwane Municipality staff could pay dearly for being in arrears

The Municipal Systems Act states that staff member or a councilor of the municipality may not be in arrears to the Municipality for rates and services for over three month and that they will deduct any outstanding amounts from a staff members salary after this period!

Mpho Mashita and DJ Complexion talked to Simon Shokane, the Polokwane Municipality Revenue Manager about whether this code of conduct is still relevant during these covid-19 time where money is too tight to mention.
