After leaving the country and maintaining years of silence over her brother’s murder – which her husband only found out about through an online search – Leigh Visser is now speaking out loudly.
She was prompted into action when the Department of Correctional Services informed her that Adam Woest, the man who murdered her brother Warren Visser in the infamous Sizzlers Massacre, now qualifies for parole.
Visser, who now lives in Canada, has written to the President and set up a petition to oppose the Woest’s early release.
Visser has teamed up with Roxanne Van Eck - whose policeman father was shot 52 times with an AK-47 by armed robbers, and Rob Matthews – whose daughter Leigh Matthews was kidnapped and murdered a day after she turned 21. The killers are all up for parole hearings.
