It’s all about birds and birdwatching on People of Note this week when Rodney Trudgeon talks to the CEO of Birdlife South Africa MARK ANDERSON. Birdwatching is an incredibly popular hobby and the organisations has well over 5000 members, many of whom belong to more than 40 affiliated bird clubs. Birdlife’s vision is to promote the enjoyment, understanding, study and conservation of wild birds and their habitats. They are also involved in a number of projects for the sustainability of birds.
