Eskom has again implemented load-shedding. This time it will last for five days until Monday next week.
“This load-shedding is necessary due to a shortage of generation capacity following breakdowns of two more generating units during the night,” the company said.
Eskom provided a virtual update on Wednesday morning.
The power utility’s leadership said the problems are due to funding and the management of issues.
