All Eastern Cape schools will get textbooks by Tuesday: department

The Eastern Cape department of education was ordered by the Makhanda high court to ensure all public schools in the province have textbooks by the end of last month.
Department spokesperson Malibongwe Mtima told TimesLIVE that by the end of Tuesday all schools would have textbooks.
Khula Development Forum, represented by the Legal Resources Centre, took the department to court over its failure to deliver textbooks to pupils.
