SA's water crisis has been worsening over the past few years. It has become evident that in many areas, municipalities across the country are unable to provide basic water services for residents. A number of factors, such as climate change, are known to be the cause, but according to water expert Benoit Le Roy, neglected infrastructure and the lack of funding and investment are the main reasons.
