At least seven arrested after Alexandra shootings, says Cele  

At least seven people have been arrested after shootings in Alexandra township in the past two days. One murder weapon, empty bullet magazines and cartridges were also found, according to Bheki Cele. The police minister added that the death toll had risen to six, with four people said to be in hospital. The suspects are believed to be members of a local gang which has been terrorising the community. Cele, Gauteng premier David Makhura and other officials visited the Alexandra police station on Friday.
