Mthethwa promises Banyana equal pay after Wafcon win

Minister of sports, arts and culture Nathi Mthethwa promised equal pay for all women's sports teams including Banyana Banyana. This follows their first-ever Women's Africa Cup of Nations (Wafcon) final victory at the weekend in Morocco. Mthethwa, along with SA Football Association (SAFA) president Danny Jordaan, addressed the issue of unequal pay among women's and men's sports teams in SA during a function at OR Tambo to welcome home the women's national soccer team on Tuesday.
