A new play is opening at Pieter Toerien’s Theatre on the Bay this weekend. It’s called Fordsburg’s Finest and it was written by and stars PAUL SLABOLEPSZY who is a well- known, award winning South African playwright who has the ability to reflect an authentic South African landscape with its turbulent political background, vibrant cultures and inhabitants. One of his most famous plays was Saturday Night At The Palace. Fordsburg’s Finest also stars Chi Mende and it was directed by Bobby Heaney.
