The Springboks will continue to back the veteran loose-forward, Duane Vermeulen, in the Rugby Championship.
Vermeulen had a longer stint on the field on the weekend during the Springboks 25-17 defeat to the Wallabies in Adelaide.
It was just the World Cup winner’s second Test after returning from injury and the Boks management is happy with his progress.
The Springboks forwards coach, Deon Davids, says Vermeulen still has a lot to offer the team.
