Meyiwa trial: Police 'inexperience' in the spotlight

Counsel for accused one to four, advocate Zandile Mshololo, told the Pretoria high court on Friday that inexperienced police officers were the first to attend the murder scene of soccer star Senzo Meyiwa. During cross-examination of state witness Sgt Mlungisi Mthethwa, it was revealed that he and his colleagues did not inspect the crime scene and left it unattended while they went to a hospital to find Meyiwa.
