Max Verstappen - Back-to-back F1 World titles

Loading player...
The Red Bull driver, Max Verstappen, has been crowned the Formula 1 World Champion for a second year running.
Yesterday Verstappen won the wet Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka for his 12th victory of the season, however, this was only possible after Charles Leclerc of Ferrari was given a five second penalty.
Leclerc went past the checkered flag in second, however, he cut across the final chicane and it was deemed that he got an advantage over Sergio Perez who was eventually awarded the runners-up position.
Verstappen said he was happy to have ultimately won back-to-back titles.
