There is uncertainty over the availability of David Miller for the Proteas crunch match against the Netherlands at the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia.
Miller was withdrawn from Thursday’s 33-run defeat to Pakistan according to the Duckworth-Lewis method.
Shortly before the start of the game at the Sydney Cricket Ground, the Proteas indicated that the big-hitting former Knight is being rested as a precaution due to back spasms.
The Proteas skipper, Temba Bavuma, said they need Miller for Sunday’s game.
