Joburg EMS on high alert as SA Weather Service warns of disruptive conditions

Johannesburg Emergency Management Services are on high alert after a South African Weather Service warning of disruptive conditions in parts of the country, including Gauteng. High-risk areas include informal settlements and low-lying areas. Weather forecaster Kgolofelo Mahlangu says the rain could result in interference to municipal services, road closures and damage to infrastructure. Johannesburg Emergency Management Services spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi advises residents and motorists to be on high alert.
