The South Africa 'A' team suffered their second defeat on tour last night by going down 26-18 to the Bristol Bears at Ashton Gate.
The hosts, who are second from the bottom on the Premiership table, led that match 13-6 at half time.
Gabriel Ibitoye and Yann Thomas each scored tries for the Bears, while Callum Sheedy converted both tries and slotted four penalties.
Ntuthuko Mchunu and Sikhumbuzo Notshe scored for the South Africa second-stringers, while Johan Goosen landed a conversion and Sacha Mngomezulu converted two penalties.
The coach, Mzwandile Stick, said they lost the game as opposed to Bristol winning.
