The French striker, Olivier Giroud, will be hoping to change his fortunes with the boot during the 2022 FIFA World Cup that gets underway on Sunday.
The AC Milan player will be playing in his third World Cup, but he will be desperate to improve his below par record at the global showpiece of just one goal in 12 outings.
Should he score three or more goals at the tournament he will replace the legendary Thierry Henry as France's all-time leading goal scorer in international football.
Giroud said he has targets he has set for himself at the World Cup.
