Jacques van Tonder - First international goal for South Africa

The Proteas got their inaugural International Hockey Federation Nations Cup campaign off to an emphatic start in Potchefstroom on Monday.

In the final match of day one at the North West University, South Africa thumped Pakistan 6-2.

Jacques van Tonder, Mustapha Cassiem, Sam Mvimbi, Tevin Kok the captain Dayaan Cassiem and Keenan Horne all scored for the Proteas.

The Bloemfonteiner Van Tonder, said that he was thrilled to score his first international goal.
