Melanie Golden is an Emmy Award winning offline story editor. She started as an assistant Editor at Orchestra Blue Post Production, in commercials in 2000 and is currently working with DeepEnd Post on various projects. Melanie’s passion is to tell stories, getting caught up in the footage and editing a scene that moves people. She believes magic is made in the edit suite and that it is a sanctuary for the director and editor, a place they can make anything happen. She won South African Film and Television Awards (Saftas) for best editing in a drama in both 2011 for 4Play, sex Tips for Girls and 2012 for Intersexions. On top of this she made the Mail and Guardian Top 200 Young South Africans list 2012. This is an interview that will inspire and refresh you, don't miss it!
