‘We need to start thinking of the end-of-life management of solar panels’ – Circular Energy

With South Africa in the throes of a solar panel buying boom, some environmental organisations call on citizens to think of the end-of-life management of these renewable energy technologies. One such Producer Responsibility Organisation (PRO), Circular Energy, tells the OFM Business Hour that consumers must be aware of how to properly dispose of solar panels after use, otherwise the country could find itself in a landfill crisis in years to come.
