The National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) has called on healthcare workers to treat all patients presenting with diarrhoea as suspected cholera cases until proven otherwise. Healthcare providers are on high alert as the death toll from the cholera outbreak in Hammanskraal, north of Pretoria, reached 15.
