GUEST – Lufuno Lisoga, Ifreecan-time pieces

The first Ifreecan product was a snake’s skin leather wallet handcrafted handstitched the founder’s grandfather over 99 years ago, where he killed a python that invaded his home, and turned it into a wallet. When the founder inherited the wallet in 2017, a conversation with his grandmother about restoring and evolving the family legacy and history inspired him to begin making his own product.

"I make time pieces, watches that are hand made, taken from the culture of South Africa. You can put your own pictures onto it, write your own messages, so we do unique and engraved watches. I believe this is a first, a South African watch that African's relate with. We are pushing African stuff here, making handmade products which dates back to our own history.’’ Says Lufuno Lisoga, founder of Ifreecan-time pieces.
