The South African Human Rights Commission in Limpopo says it is shocked by the situation at the Paarl water waste treatment plant outside Lephalale. A delegation led by the Provincial Manager Victor Mavhidula together with officials including from the Lephalale Municipality visited the plant and found it in a bad state. Speaking to Nghamula Chauke, Mavhidula said they needed to investigate whether the situation they found placed people's lives at risk.
